My technician did a great job unclogging a pipe in my bathroom in around 10 minutes. I was quoted $93 and signed off beforehand, which was perfectly reasonable for a toilet. Imagine my surprise when I was then charged $575 for “additional service” without being asked or informed ahead of time. This is absolutely unacceptable and had I been made aware of the increase in price, I would have declined and found an alternative without hesitation. I was taken advantage of and do not recommend this scam service.

Super efficient and quick service. I noticed a leak in our kitchen sink and went online at 7am that morning to book the plumber. By midday, the plumber was at my house and had diagnosed the issue.Communication was great. I received a call an hour prior that the plumber was on his way. When the plumber arrived, he put on booties to not make a mess of the house, which was very courteous (most tradies aren't like that!).The plumber was very open and transparent regarding the issue and the estimated repair cost.It was a seamless and positive experience - I would definitely recommend and use them again.

*Updated review* Had wonderful service from both Kevin and Ahmed today. They were able to resolve the problem and worked quickly even after being sprayed with very hot water. They were both extremely knowledgeable and provided five star service. Additionally, I spoke with at least 4 different people on the phone and they were all kind, courteous and professional.I do have to mention that my initial appointment was missed. I'm not sure where the disconnect was, but no one followed up with the appointment for several days until I left a 1 star review here.I also received a discounted price for the work. The company does not give you a price until they are able to come out to do an assessment. At that time I explained the price I was quoted was too high ( it was almost twice the price I had been quoted elsewhere). After a phone call they said they could honor the lower price. However, on the day of the appointment I received a call from someone at the company saying that the discounted price would not apply because a different technician was coming out that day. I explained that if that was the case I would not be able to go through with the appointment, at which point I was told they could still honor the discounted price. I felt that if I didn't think to push back I would end up paying twice as much.Overall, I had a positive experience with Roto-Rooter and would use them again.
