Had a big plumbing emergency. The plumber showed up super quick, accessed the issue and had everything fixed or replaced in a few hours. He made sure everything was cleaned up and in order before he left. I would recommend them anytime.
Mar 03, 2025 · David WilliamsDO NOT ADMIRE THE FOSSILS IN THE ROCKS!!!!!!!! The funny thing is I needed a plumber, I now know who not to get or recommend. I walked up to the uhaul across the street and was delayed as the manager was at his other facility. During the wait I chose to go get some ice cream at Dave's, and when I was finished with it there was still some time to wait on the uhaul manager. In my boredom I noticed the types of rocks between Dave's and the building you might imagine was condemned (by the condition and the fact that in 30 years I've never seen anyone there) would be ripe with fossils to check out as they're local oceanic sediment rocks. There were 2 men talking off to the side of the building the entire time, who noticed me and had plenty of time to see what I was doing, even hear me talking to myself about some of the fossils that were on the surfaces of the rocks. After maybe 10 or 15 minutes of me checking out each rock individually, one of the gentlemen came over to me. He started interrogating me, asked what I was doing after they clearly saw me eating ice cream and clearly waiting on someone, he's asked about whether or not I had a ride out there, and I explained to him that I was waiting on a U-Haul after having some ice cream because the U-Haul manager wasn't there. He then turned away from me and said that that was private property back there, and that he "didn't want anyone to be hurt". This was really off-putting to me, as when people are trespassing on my property I let them know immediately that they are on private property, especially in a case where one might think that the location that they are standing belongs to the nicer ice cream place who looks like they have the money to spend on oceanic boulders, and definitely not the place you think has been closed since before you were born. I had to ask him whether or not the strip that I was standing on, the grass in between the businesses with the boulders, was in fact private property over there too or if he was just warning me not to go over there. They told me yes it was part of their property and I left it at that, it's literally all he had to say to me. I walked away from that experience pretty baffled, it's so strange to not immediately tell someone to get off private land, and needless to say I was slightly heated at the threat of being shot. Now I'm not saying it's because I have a nappy messy man bun and or because of my varied descent, I'm really not one to play that card, but I could not help but walk away feeling that that was the intent. Instead of telling me immediately to leave the land as it was not part of dave's, especially after they saw me purchase ice cream at Dave's and walk around the parking lot eating it clearly watching and waiting for someone to arrive, it was on me to ask if the land I was actively on was part of the land he spoke of, because he said all of this behind him. Why would anyone think they were the plumbers rocks to decorate that pile of trash? On top of the fact that I'm sure anyone actually reading this knows the rocks that I'm talking about so definitely don't let your kids play there anymore. So yeah, that was my experience with this plumber, he lost my business before I even knew what he did for a living, he might be good but me nor any of my friends or family will know now. Sorry.
