★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Don’t get me wrong, Paul the Plumber does good quality work. The times that I’ve used them, the technicians were very polite, professional, and knew their stuff. However, yesterday I had them come out to quote me on a (pretty routine) service that I’ve had them do for me once before. They quoted me a ridiculous price! Now, I wasn’t born yesterday folks… I’ve done my research and I know what the price range should be. When I explained to them that they did the EXACT same service for me less than 3 months ago at a significantly lower price, they weren’t able to explain the sudden and drastic (about 50% more) price increase! Seems a lot like price gouging to me. If you consider hiring them, do yourself a favor and get multiple quotes from other companies. Needless to say, I won’t be using them again.Update: The company tried to tell me the reason the price is higher is because it included replacement of the water supply line. Apparently a 3/8” braided faucet supply line costs $400. Give me a break!
Jun 26, 2025 · LivPaul, the plumber, is living his best life. I guess it really pays to build a company by grossly overcharging for services. We had a pinhole leak. Nothing major, but I was suffering with pneumonia and wanted it fixed. I figured $400 was on the way high side to fix the pinhole leak. Boy howdy, was I shocked with a bill for $825 for 20 minutes worth of work with compression fittings - not even soldered connections. This service was on February 26th.
Jul 07, 2025 · Pete ConradExcellent Service. My technician showed up On Time, and was very very nice and polite. He made me feel very comfortable when I asked questions. The job was completed quickly and professionally.I'll definitely be using Paul the Plumber again. Just hopefully not any time soon LOL.
Jun 13, 2025 · Ann BreaultAbsolutely excellent work. They even came early and worked nonstop for hours and got all the work done perfectly. Not only did they fix a leak in a bathroom that went through a ceiling but also built a beautiful new outdoor shower and replaced several leaking pipes! They will be my plumbers for life!! 5 stars!
Jun 24, 2025 · Callie TaffeThe tech who arrived was pleasant and capable, no issue with the work. My issue is with the costs. $571 to replace a kitchen faucet. The tech worked for about 20 minutes on the job itself, was in my home slightly more than 30 minutes. I would expect to pay $175 - $200 per hour for a skilled plumber. $250 would have also been tolerable. This wasn't an emergency job, they booked a day and time to come on based on their availability. The office called me after the job was completed on Thursday (5/1) to suggest I leave a review. I explained my experience and said they may not want me to leave a review. The caller was polite and let me know she'd ensure my concerns were communicated. I stated I'd wait to leave a review to see if anyone called to explain the egregious rate. No call received. This operation will be a last resort in an emergency going forward due to the crazy high rate. Use caution when considering Paul the Plumber.
