When a leaky faucet turns into a waterfall or your water heater decides to take an unscheduled break, knowing a reliable plumber in Rhode Island is more than just convenient – it's essential. For residents across the Ocean State, finding a trustworthy and efficient plumbing service can save you from a lot of stress, damage, and unexpected costs. In this article, we'll take a closer look at a local plumbing business, Lubera Plumbing, providing insights into their operations and what you can expect as a Rhode Island local.
Plumbing issues, whether minor or major, often require immediate attention. From dripping pipes to complex sewer line repairs, having a professional who understands the unique infrastructure and regulations of Rhode Island is crucial. This is where local expertise shines. Lubera Plumbing is a name that comes up in discussions about plumbing services in the region, particularly for those residing in and around Coventry.
Located in the heart of Rhode Island, Lubera Plumbing is situated at 168 Knotty Oak Rd, Coventry, RI 02816, USA. This central location in Coventry makes them accessible to many residents throughout the surrounding towns and, theoretically, across a broader spectrum of the state. For those living in Coventry, Scituate, West Greenwich, or East Greenwich, their office is just a short drive away. However, it's worth noting that while their physical address is accessible, some customer feedback suggests potential limitations in their service area coverage, particularly for those in cities like Providence. This highlights the importance of confirming service availability for your specific location when you reach out.
Accessibility for a plumbing service isn't just about physical proximity; it's also about how easily you can get in touch and how promptly they can respond to your needs. Lubera Plumbing provides a direct line for communication, with their primary phone number being (401) 258-5950. They also list a mobile phone number, +1 401-258-5950, which provides another option for contact. For urgent situations, immediate response times are critical, and it’s always advisable to clarify their typical response window when you call, especially for emergency services. Understanding their availability and service area limitations upfront can help manage expectations and ensure you get the help you need when you need it.
As a professional plumbing service, Lubera Plumbing aims to offer a range of solutions to address common residential and potentially commercial plumbing needs. While specific details about their full suite of services aren't explicitly provided, typical offerings from a reputable local plumber often include:
- Pipe repair and replacement: Addressing leaks, bursts, and corrosion in water and drain pipes.
- Drain cleaning: Clearing clogs and blockages in sinks, toilets, showers, and main sewer lines.
- Water heater repair and installation: Servicing both traditional tank-based and tankless water heaters.
- Toilet repair and installation: Fixing running toilets, clogs, and installing new units.
- Faucet repair and installation: Stopping drips and leaks, and installing new fixtures in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Sump pump repair and installation: Ensuring basements remain dry and free from flooding.
- Garbage disposal repair and replacement: Addressing issues with kitchen waste disposals.
- Sewer line repair and replacement: More extensive work involving main sewer lines.
- Appliance hook-ups: Connecting dishwashers, washing machines, and other water-reliant appliances.
- Preventative maintenance: Regular checks to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
It's always recommended to inquire directly with Lubera Plumbing about the specific services they provide to ensure they can meet your particular needs. Different plumbing companies often specialize in certain areas, and confirming their expertise for your specific issue is a good practice.
When considering any local business, especially one as critical as a plumber, understanding their approach and reputation is important. Based on some available customer feedback, certain aspects of Lubera Plumbing's operations have been highlighted. One review noted a perception of reluctance to service residents in Providence and concerns about presumptions regarding a customer's ability to pay. Another customer, a senior on a fixed income, reported issues with receiving timely follow-up for repairs after previous service visits, leading to a significant delay in resolving a heating issue. These anecdotal experiences suggest that customers should clarify service area, scheduling, and expected costs upfront when contacting Lubera Plumbing to ensure a smooth service experience.
- Local presence in Coventry, Rhode Island: Provides a physical base for operations.
- Direct phone contact: Offers immediate communication channels for inquiries and service requests.
- Potential for a range of plumbing services: Likely covers common residential and commercial plumbing needs.
It's always wise for potential customers to consider multiple sources of information and, if possible, obtain multiple quotes and timelines before committing to a service, especially for larger or more urgent jobs. Open communication about expectations and any potential limitations is key.
For those looking to get in touch with Lubera Plumbing, their contact details are as follows:
Address: 168 Knotty Oak Rd, Coventry, RI 02816, USA
Phone: (401) 258-5950
Mobile Phone: +1 401-258-5950
When you call, be prepared to describe your plumbing issue in detail, and ask about their service area, availability, and an estimate of costs or a diagnostic fee. This will help them assess your situation more accurately and provide you with relevant information.
For residents of Rhode Island, choosing a local plumber like Lubera Plumbing can offer the convenience of a nearby service provider who is familiar with the regional specifics of plumbing systems and local regulations. While some customer experiences highlight areas for potential improvement in terms of service coverage and scheduling, a local business often brings the advantage of understanding the community's needs and being readily available for in-person consultations or emergency calls, at least within their primary service zones. For those in Coventry and surrounding towns, their proximity might be a significant advantage. Ultimately, finding the right plumber involves clear communication, understanding their capabilities, and ensuring they can meet your specific plumbing demands in a timely and professional manner. Always verify their current service offerings and availability to ensure they are the best fit for your plumbing needs in Rhode Island.

Lubera Plumbing Reviews
I called after getting a recommendation from a business. What the person who recommended them didn't realize was they don't want to service people in Providence. Because...you know those people in Providence. The rep on the phone presumed I couldn't pay...she mumbled something like 'is that ok' or something like it, meaning it was too much for me. When I said fine and when was the next available appt (she already told me he "wouldn't be able to come out today") she said "Well he is really busy with other jobs".I lived in Coventry and Scituate for many years before buying a house in Providence. I have encountered this type of conversation numerous times from businesses in those towns.Perhaps they should work harder to service ALL the public. I'd give them 'zero' stars if I could.
Nov 13, 2018 · Michelle MaBelleCall someone else who will respond when their previous work needs repair. I’m a senior on a fixed income and with no heat in half of my home, I was told “maybe the end of next week”, with no promise. This after my previous TWO visits cost nearly $1,000, and this would have been the third. Found someone who came the next day.
