★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Office staff is very unhelpful. Owner is never available. Installed a sump pump with no guidance or instruction and when the pump failed 4 months later my basement flooded and everything was ruined. Called for help and they said they would have to charge me. Asked to speak to the owner and they hung up on me. The very worst experience I have ever had. My husband works in the trades and we have never encountered anything like this.
Mar 07, 2025 · Stacy SzestowickiHad an appointment scheduled for 8am-9am arrival. I the owner of the property am away so I asked my son to go and open door for plumbing crew. He lives in Manchester work site is in Hartford. Ok. We had a snow storm accumulated inches about 3". So I started to call Boisvert to see if they would be at property as scheduled. 3 times i called promptly at 8am no answer voice-mail. At 8:11 a lady answered her name was Margaret. I told her my address and the situation. She said oh I was just getting ready to call you. She said when there us a snow storm we don't send our trucks out until 10am. I said so you call at 8am the scheduled time to say this. Shouldn't that information be relayed at least an hour before appointment. So my son didn't get up out of his bed drive all the way to hartford for 8-9 appointment. I said that's so unprofessional. I told her my son is sitting at the property waiting. She hung up on me. I called back I said mam you need to listen to me. She said no I won't if you are yelling. I said I am not yelling at you you need to communicate with me.She said I will have someone call you back. I said no. My son is sitting at property waiting. I said what time are your guys getting there She said you can reschedule. I said no this is what I will do I will have my son leave the basement door open and the workers can go in and when finished lock the door back. I asked her to please notated this. I then asked for the name and contact information for owner. She said I am not giving you that. I will give him a message and hung up. Now the work they did was great. But the office staff very unprofessional and needs communication skills. This Company was contracted through MDC. I had an issue the last time this company was contracted to my property they left NY basement door open after I asked them and left my telephone number to call me when they were finished so I could lock up. Very shady neighborhood. They left property didn't lock up MDC guy said when he got there door wide open he just walked inI called Boulisvert to ask why this happened. Lady said she spoke to guys they said they locked door. So they lied. I told MDC never send them back and they did and this happens. Part 2 to saga. Mr. Boisvert is a lier see attached phone log of calls for the Friday he said they called twice to confirm. I called office to see if work was complete and door locked I was told yes at 4:16. Then at about 4:59 my tenants texted me and said they have no heat. I called Boisvert and explained to me they put a sump pump in nothing to do with heat. I sent my son over to the property and guess what door was not locked only closed. I my son said the wired the sump pump to the basement lights. I am sure they should have put it on its own circuit. And the 1st floor furnace and 3rd floor furnace our out. He said they must have disconnected power to run lines to breaker power. And it knocked out the furnace circuit. I called back the Boisvert office which is closed now and got the message to call the emergency # guess what I got the owner. Who I told that I wanted to speak to him anyway about what happened with Margaret that morning but the call was costing me 25 cents a minute because I was on vacation. He said me too. I tried to explain about the furnace and he said the same thing they only put a sump pump in. And hung up on me. I called MDC and they called a supv. He called my son but by then my son got the furnaces lit and heat going for my tenants in 16 degree weather. MDC gave my son a emergency number to call if any more problems. He said they would send someone right out because of the temp outside 16 degrees can not have tenants without heat. Now Mr. BOISVERT In your response to my review you said I was abusive how so. It's obvious your staff is a direct reflection of you. Unprofessional liars and don't stand behind fixing there mistakes. But trust MDC will get a full report of your company tomorrow seeing they were closed today. Enjoy your vacation
Jan 21, 2025 · Pauline WilsonGreg and his team, led by Steven for our job, were proficient, courteous, and clean when installing a sump pump at my home. The entire process, from consult to install, went as expected. The team coordinated all aspects of the work and left me with clear instructions for town inspector approvals, which we passed with flying colors. I would be happy for the team to visit again.
Mar 22, 2025 · Stephanie ChristinoThis company was recommended by my water company to do work with back water valve replacement. I can tell you the have been to my house twice and each time they claim they fix something they came back claiming something was not done correctly. They are not very respectful at all, two times they claim they were finished they never told me ,never communicated with me the home owner. I would never use this company if I don't have to. Their are too many other companies who would be happy to take your business. I believe they get these contracts with MDC because of connection.Poor customer service.
Feb 11, 2025 · nanah pNow that I have the response by the owner, I will update my review. First off, asking about "side work" is not illegal - only in California. Next - the plumber was not "vigorously" asked - we made a simple inquiry about if the plumber does work on the side - without actually mentioning the work to be done. His response was "I actually don't have time to do side projects", not "the company does not allow me to do side work", nor "it is illegal to ask about side work". Then, we asked him to take pictures and bring them back to the company so we could get a quote on the job. The company never responded to our request. Finally, we asked the company to come out to do a project at our own home. They scheduled an appointment to come over, then never showed. No call, no response whatsoever. When I finally called to find out what happened, I was told they don't want our business. Now THAT is totally unprofessional. Not the type of company I want to do business with.
