★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had a great experience with American Leak Detection. Brenden was very thorough and took the time to explain everything. I was very happy with the entire process. Would definitely use them again if necessary.
May 30, 2025 · Kline Family (Kristi, Brian)Brendan was a phenomenal tech. Customer service was amazing. Response was fast. Our tech has issues with the piping in the house and made 2 visits to ensure we were taken care of.
Apr 18, 2025 · Christian ObuchowskiBeware of this business practice, especially your insurance company dispatch this company for your Leak Detection need. I'm sharing my experience.1. American Leak Detection called us DIRECTLY to schedule the appointment to "HELP" us locate the leak.2. They came and test and detect, marked a spot and told us we will get a report next day. The technician also said about 30 days guarantee if the detect spot is not accurate.3. They refused to send us a report and asked us to contact insurance company for one. The insurance company of course not responding.4. When we called them and said our plumber did not find the leak in the spot they detected, they still refused to share the report nor let us to use the 30 days guarantee. Patty in the call claimed ONLY the insurance can give the report to us because WE as a home owner not their client.5. Of course they did not disclose this shady business practice. They asked us to sign the authorization to perform test after they already did the test. There is no mention anywhere from any rep that Insurance will be the ONLY person can reach out to them. When I questioned Patty why no one disclosed this when scheduling the appointment, she unprofessionally turned this around said I didn't know you didn't know. Seriously? Are we expected a slab leak insurance claim to be a frequent occurrence that everyone should know it's a common practice that a company worked in my house will not share information in the report?Additionally, the detection was not accurate. Wasted a week of our time trying to get a report and going NO WHERE.Stay away from this company.
Mar 26, 2025 · Ria L.It was easy to schedule an appointment and the technician arrived on time. I walked him through the house and described the leak. After some testing with the IR camera and discussion he thought the leak could be the result of a window AC unit. He used the hose to mimic rain and was able to confirm his initial thoughts. The whole procedure was fairly quick. We did have the ceiling open which helped.Saved me a lot of headaches.
Apr 14, 2025 · M KThe leak detection specialist, Brendan Foster, was very professional and very helpful. Although the leak was not exactly pinpointed he did do his best to find the general location of the leak.
