American Home Shield Home Warranty assigned Blue Ridge Mountain Plumbing to repair a faucet in my house. When the plumbers showed up they diagnosed the problem, and told me the faucet needed a trim kit replaced. Normally a $300 fee.But the plumbers told American Home Shield that they could not diagnose the problem.So American Home Shield denied the claim.How can you diagnose the problem, and not be able to diagnose the problem, at the same time?I called Blue Ridge Mountain Plumbing several times asking them to fix the error. They would not help me.American Home Shield tried to call them multiple times, but they would not answer the phone or return calls.So I initiated a 3-way call with American Home Shield and Blue Ridge Mointain Plumbing. As soon as the Plumbing company associate realized American Home Shield was also on the call... CLICK... they hung up.That's interesting...Why did the plumbing company refuse to tell the warranty company about their error? Why would they refuse to even talk to them? Why wouldn't they talk to me?HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. JERKS.If you don't want to do contract work for home warranty companies, then get off of their list of contractors.Finally last week a friend of mine looked at my faucet, went to Lowe's, bought a $12 handle, installed it in five minutes, and now it works great! No trim kit needed after all.It makes me sick when contractors take advantage of home owners' lack of knowledge and try to screw them over. Disgusting.------MY REPLY TO YOUR REPLY:American Home Shield denied my claim BECAUSE YOU LIED AND TOLD THEM YOU COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. Blue Ridge Mountain exceeded my expectations! They arrived on time. Made adjustments to the work as needed (because I didn't think to include a second outlet for the washer to the work needed). They took the time to explain everything to me. They were professional and curtious and thorough with the work. I will use them again and will recommend them to friends and family.I have seen some negative reviews on here and have also notice they all include a home warranty company. Because of my personal experience with home warranty companies, I will not hold Blue Ridge Mountain Plumbing accountable for those reviews.

Blue Ridge Mountain Plumbing was the BEST experience that I have EVER had in dealing with a professional plumbing service. When I called to schedule my appointment, Joshua, the office manager actually LISTENED to my concerns and I immediately knew that I was in excellent hands. Jonathan, the plumber showed up and IMMEDIATELY fixed the problem that another plumbing company neglected to fix. I read the previous reviews and I must say that being a new company, so many of us are impatient these days and expect service immediately. After going through another company who was extremely dishonest, I will gladly wait for an HONEST, RELIABLE company like Blue Ridge Mountain Plumbing to fix ALL of my plumbing issues in the future. I just wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to Joshua & Jonathan for turning my nightmare of an experience completely around and actually making this customer a believer in good customer service! James from Blue Ridge Mountain Plumbing installed a propane tank for our fireplace in a home that we recently purchased. This is one of the only companies that I could find where you actually own the tank and are not locked into a fuel delivery contract. During the clean and inspect they found that the pilot assembly was not in working order. (not surprising since you could tell no maintenance had ever been done). James had us up and running in no time and at a price that was well below what the "BIG" companies charge. I recommend them to anyone looking for fireplace or plumbing service.

They were assigned to us by American Home Shield. They were super prompt. Responded to emails within minutes. Daniel who came out and did the install and was super knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldn’t pay attention to the other negative reviews from other American home shield customers. It took me almost 4.5 weeks to get American home shield to get this fixed for me. That is NOT the contractors fault, it is the warranty company. It seems like most of the bad reviews are because AHS has poor service, not because of blue ridge plumbing. They were great to work with and professional.
