Our hot water heater started showing symptoms of failure. We called Shackleford's and ordered a replacement. The team they sent was top notch, clean and quiet. We got a new Bradford-White hot water heater and we're delighted! Julie was excellent, and all I can say is the service was "Ducky"!

We have been customers for almost a decade. They are always helpful from the phone scheduling to the men who come to do the work. They are helpful, and don't do work that isn't necessary. They have saved us time and money on more than one occasion. We 1000% recommend this plumbing company!

The technicians that initially installed plumbing into our new home seemed to have done well with no issue. It was the service that later earned the 1 star rating. Our new home is 4 months old, and have had continuous issues with the plumbing. There has been sediment in our water, so we had them put in a sediment filter. Even with that, our new home still has sediment. I called them to come out to take a look at it, and they replaced the filter after we were told it would last 6 months, but it only lasted 1 month. Charged us $160. When they put the filter back on, it was so tight, it took two men to get it off. I called them again to advise of all of the issue, and their response was that it was our problem, and that if they came out, we would continue to get charged $160 for each visit.Basic customer service says that they would come out to investigate and work with the customer to try to get it resolved. There was none of that. If you use this company, you are on your own once they are paid for their work. They have no interest in being part of the solution, only another paycheck to even come out. This is the poorest example of customer service I have seen in a long time.

I called Shackelford this morning, I had NO water. They said they would be there between 11:00 and 2:00. 11:00 They were in my driveway. Charles was careful not to diagnose the problem until he checked everything out, he had to leave and return with extra equipment. He explained everything in terms that i could understand and in my opinion was very honest. They could have told me I needed an $1800+- part (which I was bracing for) but instead found a switch problem in my well. I was pleased with Charles and his co--worker, the value of the service provided, the punctuality and the responsiveness of Shackelford Plumbing. Excellent Service - good people.
